Scenic Mountain Flight and Lukla Aiport:
The 45 minutes flight to the Tenzing Hillary Aiport well known as Lukla Airport offers dramatic views of mountains and beautiful landscape. The famous view point of Everest Base Camp Trekking route, Tengboche gives an incredible view of Mount Everest with warm hospitality of Sherpa community. The oldest monastery of the entire Khumbu region, the Tengboche Monastery gives you an insight about the Buddhism and Tibetan culture. Tengboche is the returning point for short trekking in Everest. The monks and Lama are the highlights.
Gorakshep:
The last village present on the route of Everest Base Camp trekking is, Gorakshep. Beyond this trekkers need to arrange their shelter themselves. It is a small village with lodges. From here trekkers start trekking to Base Camp of Mount Everest and back in the evening for accommodation and food. Next day they trek to Kalapathar (5545m) for the view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Makalu and other several peaks close to the eye level.

Kalapathar is the highest access of this trekking. From the top, dramatic views of Everest and other snow capped mountains seems close. To climb the Kalapathar peak is challenging task of the entire trekking route. The Everest Base Camp is the place for which this entire trekking aims to reach.
