Everest Three High Passes Trek constitutes the most challenging yet an adventurous trek in the Mount Everest region. As the name highlights, the trek allows you to view three high passes named as-
- Chola-La Pass at the height of 5368 meters
- Khangma-La Pass at the height of 5535 meters and
- Renjo-La Pass at the height of 5338 meters
The trek involves following the most challenging routes in the Mount Everest region with various small high viewpoints, such as the Everest Base Camp, Kalapather and Gokyo Ri mountains.
We will have to start with our trek from Kathmandu, followed by a flight towards Lukla and start with experiencing the adventure once we land at the tiny airstrip. We require approximately one week time to reach at the Mount Everest base camp. Until then, we will follow our classing trekking route, which involve visiting a few of the popular places, like Tengboche, Namche Bazaar, Pheriche, Dingboche and similar others.
Once you have successfully reached to the base camp of the Mount Everest, the 3 high pass trek will follow the less crowd and challenging mountain trekking in the anti-clock direction. The trekking route will provide you with various angular views of the dramatic scenes of the Himalaya region, including the worldwide eight high mountain peaks.
These include the Mount Everest at 8848m, Mount Cho Oyu at 8201m, Mount Lhotse at 8516m, Mount Makalu at 8463m and various other famous mountain peaks. Furthermore, by passing from Khangma-La Pass and Chola-La Pass will let us to reach to the another valley belonging to the Mount Everest region i.e. Gokyo Valley. Especially, you will get the best view point in the form of Gokyo Ri Mountain.
After we ascend from the Gokyo Valley, we will reach at the top of the famous Renjo-La Pass. From this point, we will continuously follow our trek towards the Thame Valley and finally make our return journey to reach Lukla and take a flight to Kathmandu.

<p>After your arrival in Tribhuvan International Aiport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. After check In, you will have free time to discuss about the trip. Overnight you will stay in hotel.</p>
<p>After having breakfast in the hotel, you will drive to Aiport for 45 minutes Lukla flight. You will enjoy this mountain flight and landed at Lukla airport. You will start trekking to Phakding. Overnight you will stay in lodge at Phakding.</p>
<p>We will start with our mountain trekking by reaching to the Namche Bazaar, recognized as the famous market of the Nepal.</p>
<p>Today, we will have a free day, during which we will have rest and acclimatization at the Namche Bazaar. On this day, you will not only be able to view scenic beauties of the area, but also buy necessary trekking equipments from the bazaar.</p>
<p>Our team will move ahead to trek to Tengboche, Here, we will view the biggest gompa of the nearby Khumbu region, along with the Tengboche Monastery.</p>
<p>Now, we will move on to another popular stop available for individuals want to trek towards either of the Mount Everest, Ama Dablam and so on.</p>
<p>On the second acclimatization day at Dingboche, we will get the excellent views of the mountain peaks and other famous areas of Dingboche.</p>
<p>After our rest, we will trek towards Chhukung by starting from Dingbuche for about 3 hours.</p>
<p>By starting our trek from Chhukung, we will follow our trek by passing through Kongm-La Pass to reach at Lobuje.</p>
<p>Today, our team will meet our objective of trekking to the base camp of Mount Everest at the height of 5363meters. Later on, we will follow the return journey to reach Gorak Shep.</p>
<p>Starting from Gorak Shep, we will continuously move ahead to hike to the Kalapathar region. Following it, we will descend our journey towards Zongla.</p>
<p>We will start our day with climbing to the Chola-La Pass. After this, we will cross and descends towards Thagna at the height of 4500meters.</p>
<p>On today’s trek, we will reach the Gokyo Lake available at 4790meters.</p>
<p>Our team will start at early morning to experience a steep climb towards the top of the Gokyo Ri mountains. Hence, we will get stunning views of the famous Gokyo Valley, the worldwide famous Ngozumpa Glacier and various panoramic views of the famous Khumbu Glacier region.</p>
<p>Now, we will trek across the Renjo Pass and then continuously move ahead to reach at Lundhen.</p>
<p>On this day, we will return to the Namche Bazaar by walking for about 6 and half hours period.</p>
<p>Finally, we trek to the downward direction to reach at the beginning point i.e. to Lukla.</p>
<p>We will take flight to return to Kathmandu in the early morning and get our stay in the Kathmandu hotel.</p>
<p>Finally, you will transfer to the airport to have final departure.</p>
